Description

  

  Masque perfectionné pour la protection contre les gaz et autres produits nocifs.    La     présente    invention a pour objet un  masque perfectionné pour la protection contre  les gaz et autres produits nocifs, comprenant  un boîtier dans lequel sont aménagées les  soupapes d'inspiration et d'expiration, ce  boîtier étant relié, d'une part, à la cagoule  du masque et, d'autre part, à un dispositif  contenant la cartouche épurante dudit mas  que, caractérisé par le fait que la soupape  d'inspiration est entourée par la soupape  d'expiration, constituée par une rondelle en  matière flexible.  



  Le dessin annexé montre, partiellement et  à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution  de l'objet de l'invention.  



  La     fig.    1 est une première vue en coupe  axiale partielle de la première forme d'exé  cution.  



  La     fig.    2 est une vue en coupe axiale du  boîtier de la seconde forme d'exécution.  



  La     fig.    3 représente en coupe axiale une    pièce souple constituant les deux soupapes  de la     fig.    2.  



  Le masque partiellement représenté sur la       fig.    1 comprend un boîtier comportant deux  parties cylindriques 1 et 2 et     unie    partie  en tronc de cône 3 reliées par des raccorde  ments arrondis. Le tronc de cône 3 pourrait  être remplacé par une     surface    plane annu  laire. Une cagoule ou un couvre-face non re  présenté vient se rattacher à l'extrémité su  périeure de la partie 1. A     l'extrémité    infé  rieure de la     partie    cylindrique 2 est fixée,  d'une façon parfaitement étanche (par exem  ple par     sertissage    ou par vissage), une pièce  annulaire 4.

   Cette dernière possède le long  de sa circonférence intérieure une partie cy  lindrique 5, dont l'extrémité supérieure porte  la soupape d'inspiration 9; cette partie cylin  drique fait corps avec la pièce 4, mais pour  rait aussi être rapportée.  



  A cette pièce 4 est en     outre    fixé un dis  positif cylindrique 6, dans lequel se raccorde      une cartouche d'épuration ou un     tube-          chenille    (non représentés); la partie plane de  la pièce annulaire 4 est percée de trous 7  pour le passage de l'air expiré.  



  Autour de la partie cylindrique 5 est em  boîtée à force une rondelle de caoutchouc 8;  la pression de     celle-ci    sur la partie 5 assure  sa     fixation    ainsi qu'une étanchéité parfaite.  



  La partie extérieure de la rondelle 8  vient prendre appui contre la surface 3, de  façon à empêcher tout passage de l'air ve  nant de l'extérieur; la rondelle 8 constitue  donc la soupape d'expiration du masque,  puisqu'elle ne permet le passage de l'air que  dans un seul sens, de la cagoule vers l'exté  rieur, et la partie 5 constitue le siège de cette  soupape.  



  Le masque partiellement représenté sur la       fig.    2 comprend un boîtier comportant deux  parties cylindriques 1 et 2 et une partie en  tronc de cône 3 et dans lequel est disposée  la pièce en caoutchouc de la     fig.    3 consti  tuant les soupapes d'inspiration et d'expira  tion.  



  La     fig.    3 représente les soupapes d'inspi  ration et d'expiration de la seconde forme  d'exécution, constituées par une seule pièce  souple A, circulaire, par exemple en caout  chouc. La partie centrale de cette pièce A  est découpée suivant la plus grande partie       (environ    9110) d'une circonférence concen  trique. Elle est munie en outre d'une partie  cylindrique E servant à sa fixation.  



  La partie cylindrique E entoure en le  pressant le cylindre 5 que possède la pièce  annulaire 4. La rondelle A, fonctionnant  comme soupape d'expiration, vient s'appli  quer contre la partie tronconique 3 du boî  tier, tandis que la pièce circulaire partielle  ment découpée     BCD    joue le rôle de soupape  d'inspiration, et peut osciller autour du petit  arc d'attache<I>BD</I> qui agit comme     charnière.     



  On peut, sans sortir du cadre tracé par  la revendication, prévoir la construction d'un  masque possédant une     pièce    souple en caout  chouc ne comportant pas une partie cylin  drique E, et dont la partie découpée, destinée    à constituer la soupape d'inspiration est       exeentriq#@e.

The present invention relates to an improved mask for protection against gases and other harmful products, comprising a housing in which the inspiration and expiration valves are arranged, this housing being connected, on the one hand, to the hood. of the mask and, on the other hand, to a device containing the purifying cartridge of the said mask, characterized in that the inspiration valve is surrounded by the expiration valve, constituted by a washer of flexible material.



  The appended drawing shows, partially and by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.



  Fig. 1 is a first view in partial axial section of the first embodiment.



  Fig. 2 is an axial sectional view of the housing of the second embodiment.



  Fig. 3 shows in axial section a flexible part constituting the two valves of FIG. 2.



  The mask partially shown in FIG. 1 comprises a housing comprising two cylindrical parts 1 and 2 and a united truncated cone part 3 connected by rounded connections. The truncated cone 3 could be replaced by an annular flat surface. A hood or a face cover not shown is attached to the upper end of part 1. At the lower end of cylindrical part 2 is fixed, in a perfectly sealed manner (for example by crimping or by screwing), an annular part 4.

   The latter has along its inner circumference a cylindrical part 5, the upper end of which carries the inspiration valve 9; this cylindrical part is integral with part 4, but could also be added.



  To this part 4 is also fixed a cylindrical positive device 6, in which is connected a purification cartridge or a caterpillar tube (not shown); the flat part of the annular part 4 is pierced with holes 7 for the passage of the exhaled air.



  Around the cylindrical part 5 is force-fitted a rubber washer 8; the pressure thereof on part 5 ensures its fixing as well as a perfect seal.



  The outer part of the washer 8 comes to rest against the surface 3, so as to prevent any passage of air coming from the outside; the washer 8 therefore constitutes the mask's exhalation valve, since it only allows the passage of air in one direction, from the hood to the outside, and part 5 constitutes the seat of this valve.



  The mask partially shown in FIG. 2 comprises a housing comprising two cylindrical parts 1 and 2 and a truncated cone part 3 and in which the rubber part of FIG. 3 constituting the inhalation and exhalation valves.



  Fig. 3 shows the inspiration and expiration valves of the second embodiment, formed by a single flexible part A, circular, for example made of rubber. The central part of this piece A is cut along the greater part (approximately 9110) of a concentric circumference. It is also provided with a cylindrical part E serving for its fixing.



  The cylindrical part E surrounds, by pressing it, the cylinder 5 which the annular part 4 has. cutout BCD acts as an inspiration valve, and can oscillate around the small <I> BD </I> attachment arc which acts as a hinge.



  It is possible, without departing from the framework traced by the claim, to provide for the construction of a mask having a flexible piece of caout chouc not comprising a cylindrical part E, and of which the cut part, intended to constitute the inspiration valve is exeentriq # @ e.
