La fig. 6 est une élévation d'une troisième variante et La fig. 7, une élévation d'une quatrième variante, la fig. 8 étant une coupe horizon tale par VIII-VIII de fig. 7; La fig. 9 est une coupe verticale d'une cinquième variante et la fig. 10, une coup horizontale par X-X de fig. 9; La fig. 11 est une coupe horizontale d'une sixième variante et La fig. 12, une coupe verticale d'une septième variante;
Waterproof winder. The object of the present invention is a waterproof winder, comprising a device for temporarily fixing the crown to the case, as well as a coupling device, one part of which is integral with the winding stem and the other with the. crown and which is intended to couple these last two parts, when the crown is separated from the case. This winder is characterized in that the second part of the aforementioned coupling is presented by a sleeve fixed to the body of the crown by means of two separate devices, preventing it both from rotating and from moving longitudinally with respect to this body.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention and of the variants.
Fig. 1 is an axial vertical section of the embodiment and FIG. 2 shows a detail.
Fig.3 is a vertical section of a first variant of a detail; FIG. 4, a horizontal section of a second variant and FIG. 5, a section through V-V of fig. 4.
Fig. 6 is an elevation of a third variant and FIG. 7, an elevation of a fourth variant, FIG. 8 being a horizontal section through VIII-VIII of fig. 7; Fig. 9 is a vertical section of a fifth variant and FIG. 10, a horizontal shot through X-X of fig. 9; Fig. 11 is a horizontal section of a sixth variant and FIG. 12, a vertical section of a seventh variant;
Fig. 13 shows a detail in perspective; Figs. 14 to 18 each show a variant of another detail; Fig. 19 is another variant of the latter and FIG. 20 is a plan from below of FIG. 19; Figs. 21 and 22 are an elevation and a plan of another variant and FIGS. 23 and 24, two similar views of a last variant.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 is the caseband, 2 the tube or pendant screwed into it and 3 the movement. The winding stem is formed of an inner section 4 onto which is screwed titi outer section 5 having two lateral projections 6 forming the male parts of a coupling, the female parts of which are two slots 7 made in a sleeve 8 fixed to the body 9 of the crown. 10 is a spring housed largely in a recess 11 of the movement 3.
The principle of this construction is already known and we will only give the essentials (its operation: In the position shown in fig. 1, the winder is at rest and the crown 8-9 is screwed onto the pendant, ensuring a hermetic closure of the case To wind up or set the time, the crown is unscrewed, the spring 10 then pushes it outwards and engages the two parts 6 and 7 of the above-mentioned coupling; From this moment, the crown and the winding stem are coupled and the winding and time setting are carried out as usual.
The sleeve 8 is screwed into the body 9 of the crown by means of a thread 12. In addition, to prevent it from unscrewing accidentally, a crimping has been provided and, for this purpose, it has been arranged in the man chon 8 (shown in plan in Fig. 2), two recesses 13, into which it has been forced, by pressure exerted at 14, the material of the body of the crown.
In the variant of FIG. 3, the sleeve 8 is also screwed into the body of the crown. On the outer periphery of its part projecting out of this body, it has vertical grooves 15 serving to screw it into the body and in which, this screwing being completed, the material of this body has been pushed back at 16.
In the two variants of FIGS. 4 to 6, the sleeve 8 is no longer screwed into the body 9; it has radial fins 17 penetrating into the slots 18 of this body, which prevents any rotational movement between these two parts. In addition, it presents, in FIGS. 4 and 5, a shoulder 19, onto which the material of the body 9 is pushed back at 20; in fig. 6, the material of the body 9 is forced into 21, directly under the radial fins 17.
In the variant of FIGS. 7 and 8, the section 5 of the winding stem has two lateral slots 22 forming the female elements of the already mentioned coupling and intended to cooperate with the dialed fins 23 of the sleeve 8 constituting the male part of this coupling. These fins 23 also penetrate into the radial slots 24 of the body 9 of the crown and thus prevent rotation of the sleeve relative to this body. 25 is the crimp, this time comprising material from the body forced under a shoulder of the sleeve.
In the variant of FIGS. 9 and 10, the rotation of the sleeve, relative to the body, is prevented, thanks to the fact that the periphery of this sleeve is polygonal and penetrates into a recess of the same shape 26 of the body of the crown. This sleeve is clamped between a shoulder 27 of this body and a serweaving 28 obtained by pushing the material of the body under a shoulder of the sleeve. In the variant of FIG. 11, the rotation of the sleeve 8, relative to the body 9, is prevented by longitudinal projections 29 of the sleeve penetrating into the corresponding grooves of the body.
In the variant of FIGS. 12 and 13, the sleeve is formed by a ring having axial and radial fins 41 engaged in corresponding slots in the body of the crown and of which the part situated between this body and the winding stem constitutes the male part of the coupling. In addition, this sleeve is clamped between the body of the neck and a sleeve 42 screwed to this body. This sleeve clamps, moreover, between the latter and itself a package 43 which, when the crown is screwed onto the case, comes to rest against the latter. The fact that the sleeve cannot accidentally unscrew from the body of the crown ensures more safety in operation.
In addition, as long as this sleeve cannot rotate, it becomes possible to fix to it that of the ends of the spring 10 which cooperates with it, which simplifies assembly.
In fig. 14, this fixing is produced by a screw thread 30 which the sleeve has and in which the end of the spring 10 is engaged, the width and the pitch of this thread being such that said end cannot be engaged therein, only by deformation . In fig. 15, the sleeve has a tubular projection 31 having an internal circular bearing surface 32, above which is formed a circular groove 33; the last coil of spring 10 fits freely in this groove, while the two turns located immediately below, which have been deformed to penetrate inside the projection 31, resiliently press on the bearing surface 32.
The variant of FIG. 16 shows a similar arrangement on the outer periphery of a tubular projection 34 of the sleeve 8.
In the variants of FIGS. 17 and 18, the end of the spring 10 bears laterally against a projection 35 of the sleeve, the lower end 36 of which, respectively 37, is pushed back under a coil of the spring. The variant of fig. 19 and 20 shows a similar arrangement, the projection 38 having been split into 39 and the segments 40 forced back under a coil of the spring.
In the variant of FIGS. 21 and 22, the upper end 44 of the spring curved internally enters a rec tilinear groove 45 made in the sleeve and partially closed by a crimp 46. In the variant of FIGS. 23 and 24, the groove 45 is replaced by a hole 47, into which penetrates the end 48 also curved of the spring fixed by a clamp 49.
