Optische Richtungswechsel-Anzeigevorrichtung.
In der Ruhelage sind die Zeiger in ihren, in der Farbe meist dein An strich des Vehikels angepassten Gehäuse R am Vehikel (Fahrrad) versteckt untergebracht und nach hinten und vorn unsichtbar. Die Bewegung des Hebels LA resp. RB nach vorn bewirkt über das Kabel D resp. E eine Zug kraft auf die Öse FA resp. F$, wodurch der Zeiger A reap. B ausgeschwenkt wird;
Optical direction change indicator. The invention relates to a device for displaying the change in the direction of travel of vehicles, such as bicycles, motorcycles and other vehicles that use road traffic routes, as well as water vehicles, which is characterized by luminous pointers that can be raised from the side to indicate the change in direction, which pointers can be set in the direction to be driven by manual actuation of an adjusting element by means of a mechanical transmission element in order to indicate which change in direction the driver wants to make,
and which, after the change in direction has been carried out, can be returned to their original position by resetting the said adjusting element.
The drawing shows an example of the subject of the invention in use on a bicycle: Fig. 1 shows a bicycle with two direction indicators, A. and B, one of which is on the left and the other on the right of the bike. In the illustration shown, for example, the left pointer.A (viewed from the rear) is shown swiveled to the left in order to announce a change of direction to the left. The direction indicators are on the bike z.
B. mounted on the side of the rear wheel frame so that they are clearly visible from the front as well as from the rear in the swiveled-out position. Fig. 2 shows a pointer on a larger scale, and Figures 3 and 4 illustrate the switch in side view and plan view.
In order to indicate the change in direction of travel, the corresponding adjustment lever LA or RB of the lever pair LA and RB of the can J, which is rotatably mounted on the handlebar Xa, for example, on a common axle 8 'seated on a fastening bracket C, can be adjusted forward by finger pressure. This movement is BEZW by the corresponding pull and push cable D. E on the associated pointer 9. respectively. B transferred.
These hands l9. and B are rotatably mounted on the axes GA and GB and have the point of application of the pull and push cable in the eyelets F & and F $.
In the rest position, the pointers are hidden away on the vehicle (bicycle) in their housing R, which is usually matched to the color of the vehicle, and invisible to the rear and front. The movement of the lever LA resp. RB causes over the cable D resp. E a tensile force on the eyelet FA, respectively. F $, which makes the pointer A reap. B is swung out;
the reset of the lever LA respectively. RB mediates a pressure force on the eyelet FA, respectively, through the cable. F $ and thus the resetting of the pointer concerned.
The pointers A and B can consist of a mass, respectively. have such a mass that is strongly visible from the outside through exposure to radiation, but it can also be caused by the event on the vehicle. attached electric power generator are directly illuminated by the same an incandescent lamp is brought to light up via appropriate contacts in the pointer in question when pivoting the same.
In the case of larger vehicles, there can be several pointers on the same side instead of just one, in order to increase visibility.
