  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>183685.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man     diazotiertes          1-Amit)o-4-methylphenyl-3-benzylsulfon    mit       2,3-Oxynaphthoesäui#eanilid    vereinigt. Der so  erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein scharlachrotes,  in Wasser unlösliches Pulver. Auf geeigne  ten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel Zellulose,  hergestellt, färbt er diese in leuchtend schar  lachroten Tönen.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    <B>26,1</B> Teile     1-Amino-4-methylphenyl-ä-          benzylsulfon    (das erhalten wird durch Konden  sieren der     1-Nitro-4-methylber)zol-3-sulfinsäui-e     mit     Benzylchlorid    und Reduktion des ent  standenen     Sulfons)    werden wie üblich     diazo-          tiert    und in eine Lösung von<B>26,3</B> Teilen     2,3-          Oxynaphthoesäureanilid,   <B>50</B> Teilen 30'/oigei-    Natronlauge,<B>15</B> Teilen Soda und 2<B>000</B> Teilen  Wasser eingetragen. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 1-Amino-4-methylpberiyl-3- benzylsulfon mit 2,3-Oxynaphthoesäureanilid vereinigt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein scharlachrotes, in Wasser unlösliches Pulver. Auf gäeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel Zellulose hergestellt, färbt er diese in leuchtend scharlachroten Tönen.
