Dust separator designed as a centrifugal fan with two housing spirals arranged one inside the other. The invention relates to a centrifugal fan with two housing spirals arranged one inside the other: dust separator and consists in that the dust outlet openings of the housing spirals are perpendicular or vertical. are arranged approximately vertically one above the other.
This ensures that the two dust discharge lines connected to the dust outlet openings can be given a continuously sloping shape, which is not only most favorable for proper dust removal, but also under identical exit conditions for both outlet openings, and thus an even distribution of the separation effect on both spirals.
All of this is different from vertical respectively. Outlet openings arranged approximately vertically one above the other are not possible, because then only one dust discharge can always be designed to be constantly sloping, while the other leaves the opening in an upward direction, which is not only unfavorable for dust discharge, but also very unequal outlet conditions for the two outlets, and thus results in an uneven distribution of the separation effect on the spirals.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
a is the suction line, b is the impeller, c and d are the housings spirals arranged one inside the other, e and f are the delivery lines connected to these, g </ I> and h are the dust outlet openings and i respectively. k the subsequent dust discharges of a dust separator formed as a centrifugal fan with two housing spirals arranged in one another, which acts in such a way
that it hurls the dust particles carried along by the sucked in gaseous agent onto the circumference of the housing spirals by centrifugal force, rolls them to the outlet openings, then blows out together with a fraction of the gaseous agent through the outlet openings and the cleaned part of the gaseous agent through the lines e and f, which unite again at l, further promotes.
Through the dust discharges i and k, the dust is transferred into a likewise known dust failure chamber m, in which it precipitates out of the gaseous agent by gravity and on the bottom of which it collects, while that which penetrates into the chamber gaseous agent is discharged through the line n . into the suction line a . The Spira.1 housings, which are arranged one inside the other, are positioned so that the outlet openings i and k are vertical or vertical. come to lie approximately vertically on top of each other.
This ensures that both dust discharge lines y and h are given a continuously sloping shape, which is not only most favorable for proper dust discharge, but also under the same outlet conditions for both outlet openings and thus a uniform distribution of the separation effect on both spirals results.
