Un râteau 5 peut se mouvoir -de haut en bas et de bas en haut en regard des barreaux 1; il est porté par -des guides obliques 6 et est actionné par des chaî nes sans fin 7, le tout de façon qu'il descende à distance -de ces barreaux 1 et qu'il remonte en contact avec eux;
L'axe rotatif 25 de l'interrupteur 15 est également muni d'un bras de man#uvre 26 qui peut être déplacé, en vue de la mise en marche du moteur 14, par un poussoir 27 à mouvement vertical. Le poussoir 27 est main tenu à sa position inférieure correspondant à l'arrêt de 14, par un ressort 28, mais peut être soulevé par l'intermédiaire de butées 2,9, 30, 31 réparties sur le pont 2 en nombre égal à celui -des panneaux à nettoyer et se trouvant en regard de ceux-ci;
Control system for automatic cleaning devices for the grids of hydraulic installations. The object of the invention is a control installation for apparatus used for the automatic cleaning of the grids of hydraulic installations, of hydraulic plants, for example, and comprising a rake moving opposite the bars of the grid, as well as a carriage on which the rake is mounted and which moves along this grid to bring it opposite the various panels of the latter.
It is characterized by the fact that it comprises means producing automatically: the starting and stopping of the rake while the cart is stationary, the starting and stopping of the cart while the rake is stationary in order to bring this rake successively opposite the various panels to be cleaned, and the return of the carriage to its initial position while the rake is also stationary.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the installation. Fig. 1 is a schematic view of the apparatus to which it is applied; Fig. 2 is a schematic view thereof. The: grid to be cleaned from the hydraulic plant is formed of parallel bars 1 (fig. 1) having a certain inclination and attached at their upper end to a bridge 2, at their lower end to the raft 3 of the supply channel 4 .
A rake 5 can move -from top to bottom and from bottom to top opposite the bars 1; it is carried by oblique guides 6 and is actuated by endless chains 7, the whole so that it descends at a distance from these bars 1 and that it rises in contact with them;
such arrangements are known-moreover, see for example Swiss Patent No. 108426. The guides are arranged on a carriage 8 rolling on two rails 9. of the bridge 2 ', so that the rake, the width of which is less that the length of the grid, can be brought opposite each of the grid panels for their successive cleaning. The translational movement of the carriage 8 is produced by a motor 10 (FIG. 2) actuating the wheels by angle gears 11 of:
shafts 12 and controlled by a switch 13 which can occupy two positions: running of the motor in one direction, running in the other direction. As for the actuation of the chains 7 and of the rake 5, it takes place by means of a motor 14 controlled by a switch 15 capable of taking up these positions: on and off. Of the motor 14. The two motors 10, 14 are supplied by a 1: 6 electric line via a main switch 17.
In the stop position of the motor 14, the switch 15 connects the breaker 13 to the switch 17: When the motor 14 is running, the motor 10 is necessarily stopped and vice versa.
The axis 1.8 of the switch 13 #! is provided with an arm 19 connected by a link 20 to an arm 21 articulated at 22 on the carriage 8. The arm 21 can be lowered by a stop 2'3 at one end of the bridge 2 to move the carriage 8 from right to left and lifted by a stop 24 at the other end to produce the displacement from left to right.
The rotary axis 25 of the switch 15 is also provided with an operating arm 26 which can be moved, with a view to starting the motor 14, by a pusher 27 to vertical movement. The pusher 27 is hand held in its lower position corresponding to the stop of 14, by a spring 28, but can be lifted by means of stops 2, 9, 30, 31 distributed over the bridge 2 in a number equal to that - panels to be cleaned and located opposite them;
they act on the pusher 27 via a lever 32 pivoted on one of the arms 33, an elbow lever 34, the other arm of which, 35, is in relation to the pusher; however, this action only takes place when the carriage 8 moves -from right to left, because the lever 32 drives the lever 34 in its movement by a beak 36 which does not come into play when 8 moves from left to left. right.
The arm 2-6 can, on the other hand, be brought to. the position corresponding to the stopping of the engine 14 by a lever 37 actuated by a member 38 -of one of the chains 7.
The operation of the apparatus and of the embodiment shown is as follows: Let us suppose that the carriage 8 is at the right end of the bridge, that the rake 5 is at the top: of the guides 6 and that the member 38 has passed the lever 87 during the movement of the chains 7. The lever 32 is a little to the right of the stop 29 and the lever 21 is engaged with the stop 23.
If the switch 17 is then closed, the motor 10 starts up, because the switch 15 connects 17 to the switch 13, and makes the carriage 8 move from right to left. As the lever 32 engages with the stopper 29, the pin 5 of the switch 15 is brought to the. position at which it sends current to motor 14 - and at the same time cuts off the power supply - to motor 10:
on the one hand, the motor 14 turns, produces the displacement of the chains. 7 and thus gives rise to a descent, and a rise of the rake 5 for cleaning the panel, on the right; on the other hand, the motor 10 does not work, so that the carriage 8 remains stationary while the panel is being cleaned.
When this cleaning has taken place, the member 38 acts in passing on the lever 37 and causes the switch 15 to pass to the position where the latter cuts the current of the motor 14 and sends current to the switch 13. The movement of the rake 5 stops and the carriage 8 moves from right to. left until the lever 32 strikes the stop 30 and produces an elevation of the pusher 27: the switch 15 is returned to its first position, starts the motor 14, again activating the rake 5, and cuts the power motor 10. The carriage 8 again remains stationary and the cleaning of the second panel takes place.
The same operations are repeated in succession until c6 that the various panels have been successively cleaned.
As the carriage 8 reaches the left end of its stroke for cleaning the last panel, the arm 21 engages with the stop 24 which sets the switch 13 to. the walking position from left to right. This movement of the switch then has no effect, because the lever 32 has just been engaged with the stop 31, the switch 1.5 is in the operating position of the motor 14 and the motor 10 receives no current. When, on the contrary, the cleaning of the last panel has taken place, the member 38 of the chains 7- switches the axis 25 of the switch 15, the motor 10 receives current and the carriage 8 moves from left to right. until it has arrived at the place where the arm 21 is again engaged with the stop 23.
During this movement of the carriage 8, the lever 32 is erased when the stops 30, 29 pass and consequently neither the stopping of this carriage nor the starting of the rake. Due to the contact between the stop 23 and the lever 21, the carriage 8, having reached full travel to the right, immediately sets out again towards the. left, but the lever 32 immediately meets the stop 29 which it has just crossed in the other direction and which then actuates the switch 15 to stop 8 and start 5: The appliance cleans again the various panels in a successive manner, then the same operations start again as long as the main switch 17 remains closed.
We can easily see what. precedes that the complete and repeated cleaning of the grid takes place completely automatically.
In the embodiment shown, the control of the movements of the carriage 8 and of the rake 5 takes place electro-mechanically by means of switches controlling the circuits of the two motors 10, 14; it could also be carried out purely mechanically, for example by means of clutches and mechanical devices for changing the direction of travel, interposed between the motors, on the one hand, the wheels of the cart and the chains 7 on the other.
There can be only one motor instead of two; it is not necessarily electric. The cleaning apparatus may differ from that shown, while still meeting the conditions of the claim.
