si aucun nouveau disque n'est amené au porte-disque. le dispositif d*arrêt fonc tionne immédiatement. par exemple. sous l'action de la chute (Iii bras acoustique an dessous de 4#a position normale correspondant à l'audition et 1;i machine s'arrête < ;
l. Le levier 7 est maintenu normalement, c'est-à-dire pen dant l'audition. dans sa position de débrayait, représentée en fi,_-. 1. par le contact de son extrémité libre avec l'extrémité d'un levier i ? articulé en un de ses points1 3 sur le sup port 1;
Le levier 1? est comman(lc- par la roue (lentée 1 5 montée à frottement sur la .saillie 1 f> portée par le bras 1? solidaire dit bras acoustique 1-l, cette roue pouvant passer librement sur la denture portée par l't,xtrémitc;

Talking machine with continuous operation. The present invention relates to a continuously operating talking machine. in which it is produced at the end of the hearing of a disc, a series of automatic operations forming a cycle at the end of which of the organs performing this: operations return to the normal position (,.
In automatic talking machines. (the type in question and currently known. it occurs at the end of the hearing of a saying that a series> of automatic operations consisting for example in lifting the diaphragm to release the needle from the disc, which comes C to be I, yeah,
to move the diaphragm diaphragm outwards to remove the disc from the disc holder replace it with a new disc and lower the diaphragm to bring the needle to the beginning of a new disc before to begin the hearing.
The lowering of the acoustic arm to bring the needle to the disc usually occurs before the various moving parts of the automatic control have returned to their normal position. Consequently,
if no new disc is brought to the disc holder. the shut-off device works immediately. for example. under the action of the fall (III acoustic arm below 4 # a normal position corresponding to hearing and 1; the machine stops <;
ins that the cycle of automatic movements is finished. which for various reasons presents serious drawbacks.
The talking machine according to l @ iiiveiitioii is established with the aim of olive to these disadvantages. It (, st characterized in that it comprises means for controlling a stop device during the execution of the autoni @ Lticluc, s and due nio # operation cycle,
-ens to delay the moment when this device Ll'arêt arrives in its stop position. so as not to stop the machine until the cycle of automatic operations is finished.
The talking machine may be of the type automatically playing a series of discs brought one after the other from a machine to the disc holder. It can be, in particular. of the type which automatically stops when the record holder ceases to receive discs, for example under the action of the acoustic arm which falls below the normal level which it occupies during hearing. there is no longer any disc on the disc holder, ie when the magazine is empty In the latter case, the fall of the acoustic arm serves to stop the machine.
The talking machine may be of the so-called repeating type. that is to say of the type automatically playing the same saying several times. In that case. (means can be provided :, for example, to automatically remove the disc after it has been played a certain number (the times (If, tell ('so that the fall of the acoustic arm can be used to command the stopping of the machine Finally, the talking machine could be of the type which can function at will either as a machine, automatically playing a series of discs, or as a machine playing: automatically several times; the same disc.
The accompanying drawing represents. for exemple. a form of execution (the ma chine.
The fi-. 1 is. United view, in plan, of the interior of this machine. who is. in that case. of the type with automatic disc change: The thread.,? is a perspective view showing the device (the stop and its command: Figure 3 is a view (the detail.
The machine shown is (a type comprising a clutch controlled at the end of the hearing of a polishing disc, have the motor ensure a slag of automatic operations prior to hearing a test. - vcau disk.
In the drawing, the. support plate 1 mounted in its. limp. @i carries its lower part an electric motor ?: the latter controls the usual disc-holder shaft 3 rotating in a bearing surface of the support 1 and carrying the disc-holder .1 shown in phantom in fig. 1 and the diameter of which is smaller than that of the smallest disc to be played.
A clutch disc 5 is mounted on the shaft 3 and is normally stationary on the latter; on the disc 5 is articulated in 6 a curved vier i presenting to its. interior wall a tooth 8 intended, when the lever 7 is free. to move under the action of res sort 9 which connects this lever cintra to a lug. 10 of disc 5, to mesh with toothed wheel 11 keyed on shaft 3. so as to secure shaft 3 and disc:
l. The lever 7 is maintained normally, that is to say during the hearing. in its disengaged position, represented in fi, _-. 1. by the contact of its free end with the end of a lever i? articulated at one of its points 1 3 on the support 1;
this lever 1? small to rotate in a manner well known in itself when the acoustic arm 1-1 returns back to the gall of the hearing of a record under the action of its needle which penetrates in a (, eccentric groove passing near (read the center of the disc.
Lever 1? is controlled (lc- by the wheel (slowed 1 5 mounted in friction on the projection 1 f> carried by the arm 1? integral with said acoustic arm 1-l, this wheel being able to pass freely over the teeth carried by the t, xtremitc;
lever 1 S during hearing and en-rcilailt on the contrary with this toothing (the mani @ -ru to rotate lever 1 2 when the direction of movement of the acoustiqiic arm 1- t t-1 reversed.
