Description

  

  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 131098.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen metallhaltigen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  metallhaltigen     Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man  den Farbstoff aus     diazotiertem        5-Nitro-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     2-Phenylamino-5-oxy-          naphthalin-7-sulfosäure    zunächst mit einem  Viertel der zur vollständigen     Metallisierung     notwendigen Menge eines kupferabgebenden  Mittels,

   alsdann mit einem weiteren Viertel  der zur vollständigen     Metallisierung    des     Azo-          farbstoffes    notwendigen Menge eines nickel  abgebenden Mittels und zuletzt bis zur Ab  sättigung der     metallisierbaren    Gruppen mit  chromabgebenden Mitteln weiter behandelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff ist trocken ein     bron-          ziges,    dunkles Pulver, welches sich in Wasser,  Soda oder verdünnter Natronlauge mit rein  blauer, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit  violetter Farbe löst und aus neutralem oder       sodaalkalischem,        glaubersalzhaltigen    Färbe  bad Baumwolle in reinen blauen Tönen färbt.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man löst den Farbstoff aus 15,4 Teilen         diazotiertem        5-Nitro-2-amino-l-phenol    und  31,5 Teilen     2-Phenylamino-5-oxynaphthalin-          7-sulfosäure    in 8000 Teilen heissem Wasser.

    Darauf gibt man nacheinander die gesättigten  Lösungen von 6,25 Teilen kristallisiertem  Kupfersulfat und 7 Teilen kristallisiertem  Nickelsulfat zu und erhitzt einige Minuten  zum Kochen unter Rühren. Dann gibt man  die wässerige Lösung von 15,6 Teilen     Crz0s     als 4     o/oiges        Fluorchtöm    zu und erwärmt  36 Stunden am     Rückfiusskühler.    Nach dieser  Zeit salzt man den Farbstoff heiss mit 200     gr     Kochsalz aus seiner Lösung aus und filtriert.
