Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. <B>129589.</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Derivates eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurd4'-efunden#, dass man ein Derivat <B>en</B> eines Küpenfarbstoffes erhält, wenn man die Leukoverbindung des Indigos mit einer Monohalogenessigsäure behandelt.
<B>C</B> Die neue Verbindung bildet ein grau braunes, flockiges Pulver, das in Wasser und verdünnten Säuren unlöslich ist-, sich da- (Yegen sehr leicht in kalter, verdünnter Lauge mit blauvioletter Fluoreszenz löst.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 45 Teile der Leukoverbindung des In digos werden unter Zusatz von 20 Teilen Na- triumhydroxyd in<B>225</B> Teilen Wasser ge löst und dann mit einer Lösung von 48 Teilen Chloressigsäure und<B>30</B> Teilen Soda in<B>225</B> Teilen Wasser versetzt. Das Gemisch lässt man während<B>1</B> Stunde bei<B>75</B> bis 8,0' reagieren. Nach beendeter Kondensation wird von wenig unverändertem Indigo abfiltriert und das Filtrat mit 48 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure a.ngesäuert. Das ausgefallene Kondensationsprodukt wird filtriert und ge trocknet.
