  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 189140.    \'erfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen     Monoazofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen,  wertvollen     Monoazofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man  die     Diazoverbindung    von     1-Amino-2-(2'-me-          thyl)-phenoxybenzol    von der Formel

    mit     2-(4'-Methylphenyl)-sulfonylamino-5-oxy-          naphthalin-1,7-disulfonsäure    kuppelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff, ein gelbrotes Pulver,  löst sich in Wasser gelbrot, in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure rotviolett und färbt Wolle und  Seide in echten, gelbroten Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  39,8 Teile     1-Amino-2-(2'-rnethyl)-phenoxy-          benzol    werden dianotiert und mit 95,6 Teilen       2-(4'-Methylphenyl)-sulfonylamino-5-oxynaph-          thalin-1,7-distalfonsäur-e    unter gutem Rühren  bei 0   C in verdünnter Lösung in Gegenwart  von überschüssigem     Natriumazetat    gekuppelt.  Nach Beendigung der     Farbstoffbildung    wird  der mit wenig Salz vollständig ausgeschie  dene Farbstoff filtriert und getrocknet.    Der erhaltene     Farbstoff    bildet ein gelb  rotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit gelb  roter, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit  rotvioletter Farbe löst und Wolle und Seide  in echten gelbroten Tönen anfärbt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Monoazofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Diazoverbindung von 1-Amino- 2-(2'-methyl)-phenoxybenzol von der Formel EMI0001.0020 mit 2-(4'-Methylph-enyl)-sulfonylamino-5-oxy- naphthalin-1,7-disulfonsäure kuppelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein gelbrotes Pulver, welches in Wasser mit gelbroter, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe löslich ist. Er färbt Wolle und Seide in echten, gelbroten Tönen.
