<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 189140. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Konoazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen, wertvollen Monoazofarbstof erhält, wenn man die Diazoverbindung von 1-Amino-2-(2'-me- thyl)-phenoxybenzol von der Formel

mit 2-(2',4'-Dichlorbenzoyl)-amino-5-oxynaph- thalin-1,7-disulfonsäure kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff, ein rotes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser gelbrot, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure violett und färbt Wolle und Seide in echten, gelbroten Tönen.
Beispiel: 39,8 Teile 1-Amino-2-(2'-methyl)-phenoxy- benzol werden diazotiert und mit 99 Teilen 2-(2',4'-Dichlorbenzoyl)-amino- 5-oxynaphtha- lin-1,7-disulfonsäure unter gutem Rühren bei 0 C in verdünnter Lösung in Gegenwart von Natriumacetat gekuppelt. Nach Been digung der Farbstoff bildung wird aasgesalzen und der ausgeschiedene Farbstoff filtriert und getrocknet.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit oranger, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe löst und Wolle und Seide in echten gelbroten Tönen anfärbt.

The new dye, a red powder, dissolves yellow-red in water and violet in concentrated sulfuric acid and dyes wool and silk in real, yellow-red tones.
Example: 39.8 parts of 1-amino-2- (2'-methyl) -phenoxy-benzene are diazotized and 99 parts of 2- (2 ', 4'-dichlorobenzoyl) -amino-5-oxynaphthalin-1, 7-disulfonic acid coupled with thorough stirring at 0 C in dilute solution in the presence of sodium acetate. After the formation of the dye has ended, the carrion is salted and the dye which has separated out is filtered and dried.
The dye obtained forms a red powder which dissolves in water with orange and in concentrated sulfuric acid with violet color and dyes wool and silk in real yellow-red tones.
