  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     Azo-          farbstoff    erhält, wenn man die     Diazoverbin-          dung    des     1-Amino-4-nitrobenzol-2-methylsul-          fons    mit     (2-Äthogy-5-methyl-2'-sulfonsäure-          4'    - o -     chlorbenzoylamino)    -     diphenylamin    der  Formel

         vereinigt.    Der neue Farbstoff bildet     ein          dunkles    Pulver,

   das sich in Wasser mit violet  ter Farbe löst und das Wolle und Seide aus  saurem Bade in     violettblauen    Tönen färbt.  



       Beispiel:     216     Teile        1.-Amino-4-nitrobenzol-2-metbyl-.          sulfon    werden     diazotiert    und in die mineral  saure     Lösung    dieser     Diazoverbindung    die Lö  sung des     Natriumsalzes    aus 460     Teilen        (2-          Äthoxy-    5     -methyl-    2'-     sulfonsäure-    4'- o     -Chlor-          benzoylamino)    -     diphenylamin    eingetragen.

    Nachdem die     Farbstoffbildung    beendet ist,  wird     abfiltriert,    der Farbstoff in Wasser sus-         pendiert    und durch Verrühren mit einem  Alkali neutral gestellt. Der Farbstoff wird  eventuell durch Zusatz eines Salzes ausge  schieden,     abfiltriert    und getrocknet.
