<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 200672. Verfahren zur Ilerstelluu; eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Azofarbstoff erhält, wenn man 1 Mol 2-(3' [4" - Amino] - benzoylamino,- ä'- amino) -ben- zoylamino-5-ogynaphthalin-7-sulfonsäure mit 1 Mol diazotierter 4-Aminoazobenzol-4'-sul- fonsäure vereinigt.
Der so erhaltene Farb stoff bildet ein bronzefarbiges Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit roter Farbe löst und Baumwolle in blaustichigroten Tönen färbt, die durch Weiterdiazotieren auf der Faser und Entwickeln mit ss-Naphthol intensiv rot werden.
Beispiel: 277 Teile 4 - Aminoazobenzol - 4'- sulfon- säure werden in üblicher Weise diazotiert. Die mit verdünnter Natriumcarbonatlösung neutralisierte Diazolösung wird in eine kalte Lösung aus 520 Teilen 2-(3'-[4"-Amino]- benzoylamino-5'- amino)-benzoylamino-5-oxy- naphthalin-7-sulfonsäure, 150 Teilen Na- triumcarbonat und 20 000 Teilen Wasser ein gerührt.
Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der Farbstoff, gegebenenfalls nach Zusatz von Kochsalz, abfiltriert und getrocknet.

It has been found that a new azo dye is obtained if 1 mol of 2- (3 '[4 "- amino] - benzoylamino, - ä'-amino) -benzoylamino-5-ogynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid with 1 mol diazotized 4-aminoazobenzene-4'-sulphonic acid combined.
The dye obtained in this way forms a bronze-colored powder which dissolves in water with a red color and dyes cotton in bluish-tinted red tones which become intense red when the fibers are further diazotized and developed with ss-naphthol.
Example: 277 parts of 4-aminoazobenzene-4'-sulfonic acid are diazotized in the usual way. The diazo solution, neutralized with dilute sodium carbonate solution, is poured into a cold solution of 520 parts of 2- (3 '- [4 "-amino] - benzoylamino-5'-amino) benzoylamino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid, 150 parts of Na - Trium carbonate and 20,000 parts of water are stirred.
After the coupling has ended, the dye, if appropriate after addition of common salt, is filtered off and dried.
