Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     indigoiden        Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     Küpen-          farbstoff    herstellen kann, wenn man     1#2-Thio-          naphthisatin,    welches durch Kondensieren von       1-Thionaphthol    mit     Oxalylchlorid    erhalten wer  den kann, mit dem 1     #        2-Naphtlithioindoxyl     kondensiert.

   Der so erhaltene     Farbstoff    stellt  ein dunkelrotes Pulver dar, das sich in Schwe  felsäure mit blauer Farbe löst; er gibt mit       Hydrosulfit    und Natronlauge eine gelbbraune       Küpe,    aus     weleherBaumwolle    in     violettbraunen          Tönen    gefärbt wird, die beim Seifen in ein  vorzüglich echtes Rotbraun übergehen.  



       Beispiel:     214 Teile 1     #        2-Thionaphthisatin    und 200  Teile     1-2-Naphththioindoxyl    werden in 4000  Teilen Alkohol suspendiert und nach Beigabe       von    5 Teilen Soda zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach    kurzem Kochen ist die Kondensation beendet.  Der in sehr guter Ausbeute abgeschiedene  Farbstoff wird filtriert, gewaschen und ge  trocknet.



  Process for the production of a new indigoid dye. It has been found that a vat dye can be produced if 1 # 2-thionaphthisatin, which can be obtained by condensing 1-thionaphthol with oxalyl chloride, is condensed with the 1 # 2-naphthlithioindoxyl.

   The dye thus obtained is a dark red powder which dissolves in sulfuric acid with a blue color; he gives a yellow-brown vat with hydrosulphite and caustic soda, which is dyed from cotton in violet-brown tones, which turn into an exquisitely real red-brown when soapy.



       Example: 214 parts of 1 # 2-thionaphthisatin and 200 parts of 1-2-naphththioindoxyl are suspended in 4000 parts of alcohol and heated to the boil after adding 5 parts of soda. After a short boil, the condensation has ended. The dyestuff deposited in very good yield is filtered, washed and dried.

PATENT CLAIM Process for the production of a new indigoid dye, characterized in that 1 # 2-thionaphthisatin is condensed with 1 # 2-naphththioindoxyl. The new dye is a dark red powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid with a blue color;

He gives a yellow-brown vat with hydrosulphite and sodium hydroxide solution, from which cotton is dyed in violet-brown tones, which turn into an exquisitely true red-brown when soaked.
