  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass eine als Pig  ment-, wie als     Küpenfarbstoff    von hervor  ragenden Echtheitseigenschaften     benutzbare     Verbindung erhalten wird, wenn man das  durch Kondensation von     2-Oxy-1.4-napIito-          chinon    und     1.2-Diamino-4-chlorbenzol    er  hältliche     Eurhodol    mit     2.3-Dichlor-1.4-          naphtochinon    bei Gegenwart von säurebin  denden Mitteln erhitzt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    28 Teile des     Eurhodols,    das man aus     2-          Oxy-1.4-naphtcchinon    und     1..2-Diamino-4-          chlorbenzol    durch Kondensation erhält, wer  den mit 23 Teilen     2.3-Dichlor-1.4-naphto-          chinon,    22 Teilen wasserfreiem Natrium  acetat und 80     Teilen    Nitrobenzol unter Rüh  ren auf 140' erhitzt. Nach einer Stunde  wird heiss filtriert und der auskristallisierte  Farbstoff     abgesaugt;    aus der Mutterlauge  wird der Rest durch Abblasen des -Lösungs  mittels gewonnen.

   Der Farbstoff zeigt die-    selben Eigenschaften wie der des Haupt  patentes; er löst sich in konzentrierter Schwe  felsäure mit roter Farbe und färbt Baum  wolle aus der     ilydrosulfitküpe    in     reingelben     Tönen von vorzüglicher Echtheit.
