  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass eine als Pig  ment=, wie als     Küpenfarbstoff    von hervor  ragenden Echtheitseigenschaften benutzbare  Verbindung erhalten wird, wenn man das  durch     Kondensation    von     2-Oxy-1:4-naph-          tochinon    und     1.2-Diamino-4-methylbenzol    er  hältliche     Eurhodol,    mit 2 . 3 -     Dichlor    - 1.     4-          naphtochinon    bei Gegenwart eines säurebin  denden     Mittels    erhitzt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       \?6,5    Teile des     Eurhodols,    erhalten aus     2-          Oxy-1.4-naphtochinon    und     1.2-Diamino-4-          methylbenzol,    werden mit 23 Teilen 2 .     3-Di-          ehlor    - 1 . 4 -     naphtoehinon,    22 Teile wasser  freiem     Natriumacetat    und 80 Teilen     Nitro-          benzol    unter Umrühren auf 140   erhitzt.  Nach einer Stunde wird die Lösung heiss  filtriert; aus der erkalteten Lösung scheidet  sich der Farbstoff kristallinisch ab.

   Der Rest  wird durch     Abblasen    des Nitrobenzols gewon  nen. Der Farbstoff zeigt dieselben Eigen-         schaften        wie    .der des Hauptpatentes; er löst  sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit roter  Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus der     Hydro-          sulfitküpe    in renngelben Tönen von vorzüg  licher Echtheit     an.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines gelben Farbstoffes, der als Pigment-, sowie als Kü- penfarbstoff Verwendung finden kann, sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus der Ilydro- sulfitküpe in renngelben Tönen von vorzüg licher Echtheit färbt, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man das durch Kondensation von 2-Oxy-1.4-naphtochinon und 1.2-Diamino- 4-methylbenzol erhältliche Eurhodol, mit 2 .
