  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>200369.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Nüpenfarbstoffes.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Küpenfarb-          stoff-es,    dadurch gekennzeichnet,     dass    man ein  funktionelles Derivat der     Azobenzol-3,   <B>5, W,</B>       5'-tetracarbonsäure    mit     1-Aminoanthrachiinon     im     Molekularverhältnis   <B>1 :</B> 4 kondensiert.  



  Der so erhaltene Farbstoff löst sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit     orangebrau-          ner    Farbe     und    färbt Baumwolle aus dunkel  roter     Küpe    in sehr echten     grünsticbig    gelben  Tönen.    <I>Beispiel:</I>    <B>89</B> Teile     1-Aminoanthrachiiion    werden in  etwa<B>1000</B> Teilen     o-Dichlorbenzol    bei etwa  <B>160 11</B> gelöst.

   Zu dieser Lösung gibt man  43 Teile     Azobenzol-3,   <B>5, 3',</B>     6'-tetracarbon-          säuretetrachlorid    (Schmelzpunkt<B>133 ' C)</B> zu       und    rührt die Mischung zwei Stunden bei  etwa 140-160<B>0 C.</B> Nach dem Erkalten wird  der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen und ge  trocknet.    Das angewandte     Azobenzol-8,   <B>5, 3',</B>     5'-          tetracarbonsäuretetrachlorid    kann aus der ent  sprechenden Säure mit     Phosphorpentachlorid     hergestellt werden.

   Die     Tetracarbonsäure    selbst  kann beispielsweise durch alkalische Reduk  tion von     5-Nitroisophthalsäure    gewonnen wer  den.
