  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 200369.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     güpenfarbstoffes.       Vorliegendes Patent     bezieht        sich    auf ein       Verfahren    zur     Herstellung        eines        Küpenfarb-          stoffes,dadurch        gekennzeichnet,,dass    man ein       funktionelles        Derivat    der     4,4'-A.zozimhäure     mit     1-Amino-5-benzoylaminoanthraohinon    im       Molekularverhältns    1 :

   2     kondensiert.     



  Der so erhaltene     Farbstoff    löst sich     in     konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit rotbrauner       Farbe        und    färbt     Baumwolle    aus     violetter          Küpe    in goldorangen     Tönen.        Die    Färbungen  besitzen vorzügliche     Echtheitseigenschaften.          Beispiel:

            Eine    Lösung von 35     Teilen        1-Amino-5-          benzoylaminoanthrachinon    in etwa 400 Tei  len     Monochlorbenzol        wird    mit 18 Teilen     4,4'-          Azozimtsäuredichlorid    versetzt,     und    das Ge  misch wird zwei bis drei     Stunden    unter       Rückflusskühlung    gekocht. Der bereits heiss       ausgeschiedene    kristalline Farbstoff wird ab  gesaugt, gewaschen und     getrocknet.     



       4,4'-Azozimtsäuredichlorid,    das aus Benzol    in     gelben    Nadeln vom Schmelzpunkt 221' C  kristallisiert, kann aus der     4,4'-Azozimtsäure     durch Kochen mit     Thionylchlorid    in Chlor  benzollösung erhalten werden.     4,4'-Azozimt-          säure    lässt sich durch alkalische Reduktion  von     4-Nitro        zimtsäure    mit Traubenzucker  herstellen.

       4,4'-Azocinnamic acid dichloride, which crystallizes from benzene in yellow needles with a melting point of 221 ° C., can be obtained from 4,4'-azocinnamic acid by boiling with thionyl chloride in a chlorobenzene solution. 4,4'-Azocinnamic acid can be produced by alkaline reduction of 4-nitro cinnamic acid with grape sugar.
