Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines indigoiden Küpenfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines indigoiden Küpenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 5-Methoxy-6-methyl - 7 - chlor-oxy- thionaphthen mit einem reaktionsfähigen 2- Derivat des 5-Methoxy-6.7-dimethyldiketo- dihydrothionaphthens kondensiert.
Der Farbstoff löst sich in konz. Schwe felsäure mit rotbrauner Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus gelbbrauner Küpe in neutra len, grauen Tönen von hervorragenden Echt heitseigenschaften.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 2,3 kg 5-Methoxy-6-methyl-7-chlor-oxy- thionaphthen, 3,4 kg p-Dimethylaminoanil des 5 -14lethoxy - 6 . 7 - dimethyloxythionaph- thens und 40 kg Eisessig werden 5 Stunden bei 110 gerührt und bei etwa 25 abge saugt. Die Lösungsfarbe in konz. Schwefel- säure ist rotbraun. Der Farbstoff verküpt mit gelbbrauner Farbe und färbt und druckt auf der Faser ein neutrales Grau von hervor ragenden Echtheitseigenschaften.

The dye dissolves in conc. Sulfur acid with a red-brown color and dyes cotton from a yellow-brown vat in neutral, gray tones with excellent fastness properties.
<I> Example: </I> 2.3 kg of 5-methoxy-6-methyl-7-chloro-oxy-thionaphthene, 3.4 kg of p-dimethylaminoanil des 5 -14lethoxy-6. 7 - dimethyloxythionaphthens and 40 kg of glacial acetic acid are stirred for 5 hours at 110 and sucked off at about 25. The solution color in conc. Sulfuric acid is reddish brown. The dye combines with a yellow-brown color and dyes and prints a neutral gray with excellent fastness properties on the fiber.
