Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nüpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist die Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes durch Einwirkung carbazodierend wirkender Mittel auf ein Dianthrimid der folgenden Formel

Als earbazolierend wirkendes Mittel wird vor- zugsweis,e eine höherprozentige, von beispielsweise 85 % benutzt.
Es empfiehlt sich, nach Einwirkung des earbazo- lierend wirkenden Mittels mit Oxydations- mitteln wie Natriumnitrit nachzubehandeln, um das Reaktionsprodukt in die dem Küpen- farbstoff entsprechende Oxydationsstufe zu überführen.
Der erhältliche Farbstoff ist in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löslich und färbt Baumwolle aus weinroter Küpe in kräftigen dunkelvioletten Tönen an.
Das als Ausgangsmaterial benutzte Di- anthrimid der abenstehenden Formel kann in üblicher Weisse durch Kondensation von 1-Benzoyl-amitdo-4-ss-naphthyla;mn;o-6-chaor- anthrachinon mit 1-Amino-4-benzoyJamino- anthrachinon im Mo#lverhältnis- 1 : 1 herge stellt werden.
Beispiel: 10 Gewichtsteile des, Dianthrimids der obenstehenden Formel werden in 100 Ge- wichtsteilen einer 85%igen Schwefelsäure gelöst. Man rühmt einige Stunden unter Küh lung, trägt dann die Lösung in Eiswasser ein, .das 2 Gewichtsteile Natriumnitrit enthält und erhitzt unter Umrühren bis auf 90 .
Nach dem Absaugen erhält man einen Farb stoff, der in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löslich ist und Baumwolle aus weinroter Küpe in kräftigen dunkelvioletten Tönen anfärbt.
