Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines indigoiden Nüpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein neuer, in- digoider Küpenfarbstoff hergestellt werden kann, wenn man 2,1-Naphththioindoxyl mit 6-Chlor-7-methylisatin kondensiert.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein braunes Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter Schwe felsäure mit blauer Farbe löst und Baum wolle aus gelbbraun gefärbter Küpe in klaren rotbraunen Tönen färbt.
Die Kondensation kann nach bekannten Methoden, beispielsweise in organischen Lö sungsmitteln, vorgenommen werden, wie Al kohol, Eisessig, Benzol oder Chlorbenzol. Mit besonderem Erfolg kann die Kondensation in Schwefelsäure durchgeführt werden.
Beispiel: 195,5 Teile 6 -Chlor- 7 -methylisatin und 200 Teile 2,1-Naphththioindoxyl werden in 15000 Teilen Schwefelsäure 94 % bei 10 bis <B>150</B> verrührt, bis die Kondensation beendigt ist. Hierauf wird auf Eiswasser ausgetragen, filtriert, säurefrei gewaschen und getrocknet.
Process for the production of an indigoid pimple dye. It has been found that a new, digoid vat dye can be produced if 2,1-naphththioindoxyl is condensed with 6-chloro-7-methylisatin.
The dye obtained is a brown powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color and dyes cotton from a yellow-brown vat in clear red-brown tones.
The condensation can be carried out by known methods, for example in organic solvents, such as alcohol, glacial acetic acid, benzene or chlorobenzene. The condensation in sulfuric acid can be carried out with particular success.
Example: 195.5 parts of 6-chloro-7-methylisatin and 200 parts of 2,1-naphththioindoxyl are stirred in 15,000 parts of 94% sulfuric acid at 10 to 150, until the condensation is complete. It is then poured onto ice water, filtered, washed free of acid and dried.
