Abstract

Procédé et installation de pose de manchons étirables sur des réceptacles R en forme de boîte sensiblement prismatique ou cylindri- que, dont l'ouverture est entourée au moins en partie d'un bord saillant vers l'extérieur. A partir d'une gaine étirable (3), on coupe des manchons M, on étire les manchons à une section légèrement supérieure à la section de la boîte, et on place le manchon sur la boîte R en passant par-dessus le fond Fo en direction du bord. L'installation comprend une alimentation en gaine (2) et dispositif de coupe de manchons (5), un tambour de transfert (7) équipé d'organes de transfert (8), une tourelle de pose (9) équipée d'ensembles de pose (10) comprenant deux organes de pose (11) ayant chacun un étireur et un patin de serrage. Une alimentation en réceptacles (15) met les réceptacles R au pas, en synchronisme avec les organes de pose, dans la zone de pose (14), le fond Fo du réceptacle R étant tourné vers les organes de pose (11).
