Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the front bumper presents a front surface which merges through smooth curved areas into side surfaces of the front bumper; the front surface of the front bumper presents a central recessed grill-like open area therein having rearwards extending narrow top, bottom and side surfaces and rounded corner areas; the side surfaces of the grill-like open area diverge downwards towards the bottom surface thereof; the front surface of the bumper presents a recessed open area on each side of the grill-like open area; each recessed open area presents a generally trapezoidal configuration in front view; the upper and lower surfaces of the recessed open areas are generally in alignment with top and bottom surfaces of the grill-like open area; the front surface of the front bumper also presents a small raised flat rectangular area adjacent the upper edge of the grill-like open area; the front surface of the bumper above the grill-like open area extends upwards and then bends rearwards close to the upper edge of the flat rectangular area and continues upward to present a sloped upper portion of the front surface of the front bumper.
