Abstract

The industrial design consists of the features of shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the front bumper presents a forwards and upwards sloped front section which merges smoothly into side sections which curve outwards and rearwards in top view; the front section presents a recessed area along the lower edge thereof, the recessed area having a straight upper edge, outwardly angled end areas, and curved corner areas between the upper edge and angled end areas; the front section also presents a raised central area with downwards and outwards sloped upper edges which merge into lower areas of the side sections; the raised central area presents three spaced-apart large generally trapezoidal open areas therein, the outer open areas having curved upper and outer corner areas; the rearwards curved side sections present raised upper areas with curved upper and outer corner areas, each raised upper area having a large generally trapezoidal open area therein with rounded corners; each open area presents rearwards slightly converging side surfaces and a generally cylindrical element therein with a pair of side elements extending between the outer surface of the cylindrical element and the adjacent side surface of the open area.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a left front perspective view from below of the design of the front bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom plan view thereof; andFig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the design.Diagrams of the design are included.
