Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the front bumper for an automobile presents a generally symmetrical front bumper having a front surface which curves outwards and rearwards and has a central recessed grill area therein; the recessed grill area presents a V-shaped lower edge which merges through rounded lower corner areas into upwards and outwards sloped narrow side portions; the narrow side portions merge through acute angled upper corner areas into a narrow upper portion which is generally straight in front view; the front bumper also presents rearwards extending side surfaces on either side of the front surface with smooth curved corner areas between the front surface and side surfaces; the front surface also presents lower left side and lower right side mirror image recessed areas each with an acute angled inside corner area, generally straight upper and lower edges in front view, and a generally straight downwards and outwards sloped outer edge; the front surface also presents a generally straight raised central lower edge which merges through outwards and downwards gradually sloping straight portions which in turn merge into generally straight lower outer edge portions of the front bumper. Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein: Fig. 1 is a left front perspective view of the design of a front bumper for an automobile; Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof; Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof; and Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof.
