Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings. Features of the design include the front bumper presenting a front surface which merges smoothly through curved corner areas into side surfaces of the front bumper; the front surface presenting a lower central open area therein, the upper edge of the front surface presenting a pair of spaced-apart outwardly and upwards angled portions; the central open area presenting in front view generally straight upper and lower edges, upwards and outwards angled straight side edges, and rounded corners; the front bumper also presenting a pair of spaced apart mirror image large generally trapezoidal open areas which extend from adjacent the central open area and into the curved corner areas between the front and side surfaces of the front bumper; each open area presenting side surfaces that converge inwards from the outside edges to the inside edges thereof.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a left front perspective view of the design of the front bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof; Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the present design.Diagrams of the design are included.
