Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the features of shape, configuration and ornamentation of a rear bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the rear bumper is generally symmetrical and presents a front surface and side surfaces; the front surface has a smooth curved lower surface section which extends outwards and rearwards and merges into the side surfaces through curved corner areas of the rear bumper; the lower surface section of the front surface extends generally vertically downwards and presents a lower elongated inverted generally U-shaped recessed area with an angled upper surface which extends the width of the rear bumper; the lower surface section of the front surface also presents a generally U-shaped area situated adjacent to and extending part way along the upper surface of the generally U-shaped recessed area; the front surface of the rear bumper presents an upper section which has an elongated upper generally U-shaped recessed area having rearwards extending bottom and side surfaces with the side surfaces being angled outwards and with rounded corners between the bottom and side surfaces; the upper portion of the outer section of each side of the front surface presents a surface which curves smoothly upwards and rearwards; each curved corner area of the rear bumper presents an identical narrow bipointed blade-like area which extends part way along the side surface and part way along the front surface of the rear bumper.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig.1 is a left front perspective view of the design of a rear bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the design.Diagrams of the design are included.
