Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical grill for an automobile; the grill has a forwardly projecting central area and a pair of outwardly extending members which merge into the side and top surfaces of the projecting central area; the central area has rounded corners, a slightly outwardly curved top surface, side surfaces which converge slightly downwards, and a lower front edge which curves slightly outwards in elevation view; the smooth curved top surface of the central area merges into the upper surface of the outwardly extending members; the outwardly extending members curve slightly rearwards away from the central area and have curved end areas in plan view; the upper surfaces of the outwardly extending members slope downwards to generally flat front surfaces; the front surfaces have elongated shallow recessed areas which extend along the length of the outwardly extending members from curved areas situated adjacent the side surfaces of the forwardly projecting central area; the recessed areas have parallel and straight upper and lower edges and flat inner surfaces; the ends of the outwardly extending members in elevation view taper inwards away from the top surface and have rounded upper and lower outer corners.The portion of the drawings shown in stippled lines does not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design of the grill for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 4 is a front perspective view from the right and above of the grill for an automobile.Diagrams of the design are included.
