Abstract
processo para converter metano em hidrocarbonetos de maior peso molecular. um processo para converter metano em hidrocarbonetos de maior peso molecular compreende (a) reformar (1) metano por reação catalítica com vapor em temperatura elevada para gerar monóxido de carbono e hidrogênio; (b) submeter a mistura de monóxido de carbono e hidrogênio a uma reação de fischer-tropsch (2, 3) para gerar um ou mais hidrocarbonetos de maior peso molecular e água; e (c) extrair ou remover um ou mais oxigenados (4) da água. os oxigenados são em um ou em ambos: na partida do processo, cataliticamente queimados para prover calor para etapa (a), e substituidos pelo menos em parte com metano do gás residual da etapa (b) quando a temperatura atinge ou excede a temperatura de combustão de metano; e/ou usados como um melhorador de combustível para gás residual da etapa (b) para o fornecimento de calor em regime permanente na etapa (a).
