Abstract
Un proceso para convertir metano en hidrocarburos superiores, que incluyen hidrocarburos aromáticos en donde una alimentación que incluye metano se pone en contacto con un catalizador de deshidrociclación en una zona de reacción bajo condiciones eficaces para convertir dicho metano en hidrocarburos aromáticos donde la mejora comprende una etapa de calentar al menos una porción de dicho catalizador en una zona de calentamiento, separada de dicha zona de reacción, con gases de combustión generados por la combustión de un combustible suplementario, y luego devolver el catalizador así calentado a dicha zona de reacción.
