Abstract
Un método para procesar una corriente química incluye poner en contacto una corriente de alimentación con un catalizador en una porción de reactor de un sistema de reactor que incluye una porción de reactor y una porción de procesamiento de catalizador. El catalizador incluye platino, galio, o ambos, y poner en contacto la corriente de alimentación con el catalizador causa una reacción que forma una corriente de efluente. El método incluye separar la corriente de efluente del catalizador, pasar el catalizador a la porción de procesamiento de catalizador, y procesar el catalizador en la porción de procesamiento de catalizador. El procesamiento del catalizador incluye pasar el catalizador a una cámara de combustión, quemar un combustible complementario en la cámara de combustión para calentar el catalizador, tratar el catalizador calentado con un gas que contiene oxígeno para producir un catalizador reactivado, y pasar el catalizador reactivado de la porción de procesamiento de catalizador a la porción de reactor. El combustible complementario puede incluir una relación molar de hidrógeno con respecto a otros combustibles de al menos 1:1.
