Abstract

UNIDADE DE MANCAL DE RODA TROCÁVEL, POR EXEMPLO PARA VEÍCULOS AUTOMÓVEIS UTILITÁRIOS, BEM COMO PROCESSO PARA A MONTAGEM DE UMA UNIDADE DE MANCAL DE RODA. A presente invenção refere-se a uma unidade de mancal de roda (3) trocável, por exemplo para veículos automóveis utilitários, com um cubo de roda (2) e dois mancais de rolos cônicos (1,1'), que apresentam respectivamente um anel externo (4, 4') e um anel interno (5, 5'), entre os quais está montada respectivamente uma fileira de rolos cônicos (6), e com um anel de segurança (8) em ao menos um dos anéis internos (5, 5') de ambos os mancais de rolos cônicos (1,1'). Essa unidade de mancal de roda (3) deve poder ser montada sem conhecimentos técnicos específicos e sem ferramentas especiais com ferramentas auxiliares simples, existentes nas oficinas de reparação, sem exigências especiais à limpeza quando da montagem. Para tanto, o respectivo anel externo (4, 4') de ambos os mancais de rolos cônicos (1, 1,) apresenta um prolongamento (10) cilíndrico dirigido coaxialmente para o eixo de cubo de roda (9) para o lado externo do mancal, em que está inserida respectivamente uma vedação (12, 12'), e sendo que no lado, contraposto à vedação (12, 12'), do respectivo mancal de rolos cônicos (1, 1') está disposto um elemento de retenção (13, 13') fixando axialmente o anel externo (4, 4'), o qual se apóia no correspondente anel interno (5, 5').
