DISPOSITIVOS OFTáLMICOS COMPREENDENDO MATERIAIS FOTOCROMICOS COM CONJUGAçãO ESTENDIDA DE SISTEMAS-PI. Inúmeras concratizações sem restrições, descritas no presente, referem-se a dispositivos o tálmicos compreendendo materiais fotocrómicos com conjugação estendida de sistemas pi. Por exemplo, inúmeras concretizações sem restrições, desDritas no presente, provêem um material fotocrómico, como naftopirano funjido a indeno, o qual compreende um grupo que estende a conjugação do sistema pi ligado na posição 11 do mesmo. Além disto, os materiais fotocrón icos, de acordo com certas concretizações sem restrições descritas neste pedido, podem exibir absorção hipercrómica de radiação eletromagnética, quando comparados a materiais fotocróm icos convencionais e/ou podem possuir um espectro de absorção de conformação fechada batocromicamente deslocado, quando comparados a materiais fotocrómicos convencionais. Outras concretizações irrestritas referem-se a processos para produção ds dispositivos oftálmicos compreendendo materiais fotocrómicos.
