Abstract
CILINDRO FORJADO. Trata-se de uma máquina, um método e um ferramental para conformar a frio peças em bruto para mancais antiatrito. A máquina é um conformador progressivo de vários estágios que utiliza cavidades de matriz flutuantes para permitir a conformação simultânea das extremidades do cilindro com alta exatidão e sem rebarba. As ferramentas e a conformação em estágios criam um cilindro aperfeiçoado com um padrão granulado vantajoso e destituído de defeitos estruturais atribuíveis anteriormente à presença de material de superfície de extremidade cisalhada nos cantos arredondados da peça em bruto e rebarba em sua seção central.
