Abstract
MéTODO PARA PURIFICAR áGUA POLUìDA Em uma primeira parte da etapa de tratamento de pelo menos um composto orgânico difícil de ser biodegradado ou não biodegradável é oxidado em água poluída levando-se a dita água poluída em contato com um gás contendo ozónio. O efluente é subseqüentemente diluído com um líquido aquoso antes que um segundo tratamento com ozónio for realizado. Se a concentração do composto orgânico ainda não for suficientemente baixa, o efluente tratado é diluído novamente e submetido a um outro tratamento com ozónio. Foi descoberto que um tratamento com ozónio mais eficaz foi obtido pela diluição ou diluições e que em particular nenhum controle de pH foi necessário, de modo que nenhuma formação de sais adicionais ocorreu.
