Abstract
The novel high speed centrifugal ozonation process and system was innovated for wastewater treatment. Gaseous ozone was introduced into the high performance gas-liquid mass trasnfer device in the system. Wastewater was oxidized by the high-concentratoin ozone in the aqueous phase, which was produced by this innovation. The H2O2 solution was also introduced to mix with the infulent of wastewater before ozonation, which will increase the performance of organic elimination in wastewater during thee process. The optinum dosage of H2O2 was monitoring and controlled by the central control system. At the effluent of wastewater from the system, UV irradiation was applied to enhanced the oxidation ability of the system via ozone and H2O2 decomposition during the UV process. Also, this could eliminate the residual ozone and H2O2 in water.
