Abstract
"SOBREVIDA PóS-DESCONGELAMENTO AUMENTADA DE MATERIAL BIOLóGICO CRIOPRESERVADO POR ESTìMULO DE PRESSãO HIDROSTáTICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para aumentar a sobrevida pós-descongelamento de material biológico criopreservado compreendendo aplicar pressão hidrostática ao referido material biológico; manter o referido material biológico na pressão hidrostática por um período de tempo predeterminado; liberar a pressão hidrostática; e congelar o referido material biológico usando qualquer protocolo aplicável ao mesmo. A invenção também se refere ao uso de um dispositivo de pressurização para o pré-tratamento de um material biológico que está para ser criopreservado, bem como a um dispositivo de pressurização para o pré-tratamento de um material biológico que está para ser criopreservado, o dispositivo referido compreendendo uma câmara de pressão para receber material biológico, meios para produzir a pressão referida, e meios para manter a pressão referida dentro da câmara referida.
