Abstract
"PROCESSO QUìMICO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo melhorado para preparar intermediários utilizáveis para preparar N-¢1-oxo-2-alquil-3-(Nhidroxiformamido)-propil}-(carbonilamino-aril ou -heteroaril)-azaciclo47alcanos ou tiazaciclo4-7alcanos, que tem um ou mais dos seguintes aspectos: (1) fazem uso de um intermediário <sym>-lactama particular; (2) fazem uso de um agente particular de resolução, ácidos propiónicos substituídos enantiomericamente puros, especialmente ácido (R)-2-butil-3-hidróxipropiónico; (3) evitam o uso de peróxido de hidrogênio; e (4) facilitam a desbenzilação seletiva, reduzindo a produção de sub-produtos de refugo.
