"PROTEASE DA FAMìLIA DE PEPTIDASES S2A E/OU FAMìLIA DE PEPTIDASES S1E, SEQuêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO ISOLADA, CONSTRUçãO DE áCIDO NUCLEICO, VETOR DE EXPRESSãO RECOMBINANTE, CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA RECOMBINANTE, MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UM POLIPEPTìDEO, PLANTA TRANSGêNICA, OU PARTE DE PLANTA, ANIMAL TRANSGêNICO NãO-HUMANO OU PRODUTOS OU ELEMENTOS DOS MESMOS, USO DE PELO MENOS UM POLIPEPTìDEO, ADITIVO DE RAçãO ANIMAL, COMPOSIçãO DE RAçãO ANIMAL, E, COMPOSIçãO DETERGENTE". A invenção refere-se a uma nova classe de serina proteases da família de peptidases S2A ou S1E que são estáveis na presença de cobre (Cu2+) e/ou que são inibidas pelo cobre apenas em grau reduzido. Características estruturais de relevância potencial para este efeito também são divulgadas. Esta classe de proteases inclui proteases derivadas de Brachysporiella gayana, Nocardiopsis dassonvillei subespécie dassonvillei, Nocardiopsis prasina, e Nocardiopsis alba, porém também exclui proteases conhecidas derivadas de Metarhizium anisopliae e Nocardiopsis sp. NRRL 18262. A invenção refere-se também a DNA que codifica referidas proteases, à expressão das mesmas em uma célula hospedeira, incluindo A invenção refere-se a uma nova classe de serina proteases da família de peptidases S2A ou S1E que são estáveis na presença de cobre (Cu2+) e/ou que são inibidas pelo cobre apenas em grau reduzido. Características estruturais de relevância potencial para este efeito também são divulgadas.
