Abstract

"PLANTAS COM SEMENTES OLEAGINOSAS, SEMENTES, óLEOS, CONSTRUçãO RECOMBINANTE, MéTODOS PARA A PRODUçãO DE UMA PLANTA COM SEMENTE OLEAGINOSA, PRODUTOS ALIMENTìCIOS, BEBIDAS, FóRMULAS INFANTIS, SUPLEMENTOS NUTRICIONAIS, ALIMENTOS PARA ANIMAIS DOMéSTICOS, RAçõES ANIMAIS, PRODUTOS DE SOJA EM GRãOS INTEIROS E PRODUTO ALIMENTìCIO DE AQUICULTURA". A presente invenção descreve plantas oleaginosas que foram transformadas para produzir ácidos graxos poliinsaturados de cadeia muito longa, construções recombinantes utilizadas nessas transformações, métodos de produção desses ácidos graxos em planta e usos de óleos e sementes obtidos a partir dessas plantas transformadas em uma série de aplicações alimentícias.
