Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO QUE FACILITAM O USO DE áREA DE TRABALHO DE COMPUTADOR VIA AJUSTE DA ESCALA DE OBJETOS EXIBIDOS COM DESLOCAMENTOS PARA A PERIFERIA". A presente invenção diz respeito a um sistema que facilita a execução de multitarefas em um ambiente de computação. Um componente de área de foco define uma área de foco dentro de um espaço de exibição. A área de foco ocupando uma área substabelecida da área do espaço de exibição. Um componente de ajuste da escala ajusta a escala de objetos de exibição em função da proximidade da área de foco, e um componente de modificação de comportamento modifica o respectivo comportamento dos objetos de exibição em função de suas localizações no espaço de exibição. Assim, e mais particularmente, a invenção em questão fornece técnica(s) de interação e interface(s) de usuário relacionadas ao gerenciamento de objetos de exibição em uma superfície de exibição. Um aspecto da invenção define uma área de foco central, onde os objetos de exibição são exibidos e comportam-se de maneira usual, e uma periferia fora da área de foca, onde os objetos de exibição são reduzidos no tamanho com base nas suas localizações, ficando menores à medida em que se aproximam de uma borda da superfície de exibição, de maneira tal que muito mais objetos possam permanecer visíveis. Além do mais, ou alternativamente, os objetos podem desvanecer-se à medida em que eles se movem em direção a uma borda, o desvanecimento aumentando em função da distância da área de foco e/ou uso do objeto e/ou prioridade do objeto. Objetos na periferia podem também ser modificado para ter comportamento de interação diferente (por exemplo, menor taxa de renovação, desvanecimento, reconfigurado para exibir sub-objetos com base na relevância e/ou visibilidade, estático, ... ) já que eles podem ficam muito pequenos para renderização padrão. os métodos podem fornecer uma superfície flexível escalonável, quando acoplado com políticas automatizadas para mover objetos para a periferia, em resposta à introdução de novos objetos ou redimensionamento de objetos pré-existentes por um usuário ou processo autónomo.
