Abstract

Patente de Invenção:_<B>"COMPOSIçõES SEMICRISTALINAS DE C~ 3~ ETILENO-PROPILENO SUPERIOR RAMIFICADO"<D>. Composições de etileno-propileno ramificado as quais possuem resistência à fusão e espessamento ao casilhamento aperfeiçoados são proporcionadas. O índice médio g' de ramificação por peso com relação à região de maior peso molecular da composição de etileno-propileno é de menos do que 0,95. Adicionalmente, um novo processo é proporcionado para a produção eficiente de uma composição de etileno-propileno ramificado compreendendo: a) o contato de monómeros de propileno e monómeros de etileno em um reator em um solvente ou diluente de hidrocarboneto inerte e uma composição de catalisador compreendendo um ou mais compostos catalisadores de local único capazes da produção de um polímero de etileno-propileno em uma temperatura de cerca de 50°C a cerca de 180°C, em que a proporção, no reator, de monómeros de propileno e etileno para o solvente ou diluente de hidrocarboneto inerte é de menos do que 2,0 e, ainda, em que os monómeros de propileno e etileno e o solvente ou diluente de hidrocarboneto inerte compreendem não mais do que 90 por cento dos conteúdos totais do reator; e b) recuperação de uma composição de etileno-propileno ramificado, em que o índice de ramificação média por peso g' com relação à região de maior peso molecular da composição de etileno-propileno é de menos do que 0,95.
