Abstract

<B><MU>PROCESSO DE REDUçãO DIRETA E VASO PARA PRODUZIR METAL A PARTIR DE UM MATERIAL DE ALIMENTAçãO METALìFERO<MV><D> Expõe-se um processo de redução direta para produzir metal a partir de um material de alimentação metalífero. O processo de redução direta é um processo baseado em um banho fundido no qual a redução ocorre predominantemente na camada de metal, gás de transporte/material de alimentação metalífero/material carbonáceo sólido são injetados na camada de metal por intermédio de lanças/algaravizes, e gás que contém oxigênio é injetado dentro do espaço superior acima do banho de metal e gases de reação de pós-combustão desprendidos do banho. A injeção de material de alimentação metalífero e do material carbonáceo sólido faz com que o material fundido seja projetado a partir do banho fundido como respingos, gotículas e correntes e formem uma zona de transição. O processo é caracterizado pela formação de um tubo de um material sólido em uma extremidade de saída de pelo menos uma lança/algaraviz enquanto se injeta o material de alimentação metalífero e o material carbonáceo através das lanças/algaravizes e se prolonga dessa maneira o comprimento efetivo da lança/algaraviz ou das lanças/algaravizes.
