"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE ACROLEINA A PARTIRDE PROPILENO POR REAçãO REDOX". A invenção se refereao uso de uma composição sólida de óxidos mistos de fórmula (I):Mo~ 12~Bi~ a~Fe~ b~Co~ c~Ni~ d~Si~ e~K~ f~Cr~ g~O~ x~com 0,5 <243> a <243>5; 0,1 <243> b <243> 10; 0,5 <243> c<243> 10; O <243> d <243> 10; O <243> e <243> 15; 0 <243> f<243> 1; 0,1 <243> g <243> 2; x é a quantidade de oxigênio ligadaa outros elementos e depende de seus estados de oxidação, naprodução de acroleína por oxidação de propileno, a ditacomposição sólida reage com propileno pela reação redox (1):sólido~ oxidado~ + propileno - sólido~ reduzido~ + acroleína. Ométodo de fabricação de acroleína consiste em reagir propilenogasoso com uma composição sólida de fórmula (I), numatemperatura na faixa de 200 a 600<198> C, sob pressão na faixade 1,01 x 10^ 4^ a 1,01 x 10^ 6^ Pa (0,1 a 10 atmosferas), e comum tempo de retenção de 0,01 segundo a 90 segundos, naausência de oxigênio molecular, produzindo deste modo a ditareação redox (1).
