Abstract

"CONJUNTO DE ASSENTO AUTOMOTIVO RETRáTIL MóVEL EM UM INTERIOR DE UM VEìCULO, E, PROCESSO PARA RETRAIR UM CONJUNTO DE ASSENTO AUTOMOTIVO RETRáTIL" Um conjunto de assento automotivo retrátil (10) que tem um encosto de assento e uma almofada de assento. O conjunto de assento é móvel dentro de um interior de um veículo de passageiro (12) entre uma posição operacional para suportar um ocupante e uma posição alojada com o encosto do assento armazenado junto a um forro do teto do veículo, e a almofada de assento recuada e dentro de um chão (22) do veículo. O encosto do veículo é montado de maneira pivotante ao forro do teto do veículo. Um par de trancas de retenção superiores são montadas a uma parede lateral do veículo para prender o encosto do assento em uma posição de armazenagem de teto 28 disposta acima da almofada de assento e adjacente ao forno do teto. Um par de trancas de retenção inferiores (24, 30) são montadas na parede lateral do veículo abaixo das trancas de retenção superiores (30) para prender o encosto do assento em uma posição operacional de encosto de assento que contacta pelo menos uma porção da almofada de assento. Um par de suportes de almofada de assento são montados na almofada de assento para suportar e pivotar a almofada de assento de maneira independente do encosto de assento entre uma posição operacional da almofada de assento e uma posição de armazenagem de chão (22) com a almofada de assento pivotando para baixo para o interior de uma cavidade recuada dentro do chão (22) do veículo.
