Abstract
<B>MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR A FORçA DA MISTURA AR/COMBUSTìVEL FORNECIDA A UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA<D> (2) após o motor se encontrar numa condição de operação de corte de combustível durante o qual o conversor catalítico (6) arranjado ao longo dos tubos de exaustão (5) do motor (2) é atuante em um fluxo de ar e armazenamento de oxigênio; o método compreendendo as etapas de medição (8) da força (<sym>lm) da mistura fornecida ao motor (2) por meio de um sensor de oxigênio (8) arranjado ao longo do tubo de exaustão (5) a montante do conversor catalítico (6); estimando (19) a quantidade de oxigênio armazenado (OXim) pelo conversor catalítico (6) durante a condição de corte de combustível na base da força medida (<sym>lm); e, no fim da condição de corte de combustível, corrigindo (20) a força da mistura com respeito a um valor objetivo (<sym>ob) em relação a quantidade de oxigênio estimado (OXim), de maneira a garantir um enriquecimento controlado da mistura a qual permite rápida disponibilidade do oxigênio armazenado pelo conversor catalítico (6); a correção (<30><sym>~ ox~) da força permitida minimizando o intervalo de tempo durante o qual o conversor catalítico (6) opera em baixa eficiência e no final da condição de corte de combustível.
