Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PRODUçãO MICROBIANA DE ACTINOL"<D>. Um processo para a fabricação de (4R,6R)-4-hidróxi-2,2,6-trimetilciclohexanodiona, que compreende por em contato o (6R)-2,2,6-trimetilciclohexanodiona com um microorganismo que é selecionado a partir do grupo que é composto por microorganismos dos gêneros Cellumonas, Corynebacterium, Planococcus e Arthrobacter e que é capaz da redução seletiva assimétrica do (4R,6R)-2,2,6-trimetilciclohexanodiona para o (4R,6R)-4-hidróxi-2,2,6-trimetilciclohexanona, e recuperando o (4R,6R)-4-hidróxi-2,2,6-trimetilciclohexanona, resultante a partir da mistura da reação. A redução seletiva assimétrica pode ser efetuada na presença de um co - fator tal como o dinucleotídio da nicotinamida adenina (NAD), fosfato do dinucleotídio da nicotinamida adenina (NADP), e o referido co - fator com glicose e desidrogenase de glicose (GDH), e/ou na presença de um tensoativo. O produto é utilizável para a síntese de carotenóides tais como a zeaxantina.
