"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA EXIBIR O TEMPO DE CONSUMO DA ILUMINAçãO TRASEIRA PARA UM MONITOR LCD". é revelado um método e aparelho para exibir o tempo de consumo da iluminação traseira para um monitor LCD. O tempo de consumo da iluminação traseira armazenado em uma unidade de armazenamento em memória com um tempo de consumo máximo preestabelecido da iluminação traseira é periodicamente comparado. é exibida uma mensagem de instrução de substituição da iluminação traseira na tela quando um tempo de consumo da iluminação traseira até este ponto excede o tempo de consumo máximo e, após a substituição da iluminação traseira, o tempo de consumo da iluminação traseira armazenado na unidade de armazenamento em memória é reinicializado utilizando uma tecla de reinicialização na unidade de entrada por tecla. Um temporizador é operado quando um sinal de controle de acionamento da iluminação traseira é ligado, um tempo de consumo da iluminação traseira preestabelecido em uma unidade de armazenamento em memória é contado e o valor contado é armazenado em uma unidade de armazenamento em memória.
