Abstract

<B>"ANALISADOR PARA MISTURAS COLOIDAIS SENSìVEIS à TEMPERATURA"<D>, segundo o qual um método e aparelho para a caracterização de colóides mediante as medições sucessivas da atenuação da luz ou da emissão de uma mistura coloidal a duas ou mais temperaturas e a um ou mais comprimentos de onda. A diferença ou razão das duas medições a duas ou mais temperaturas proporciona uma medida da estabilidade coloidal com respeito à temperatura. A quantidade de determinados colóides orgânicos que são estáveis à variação de temperatura pode ser determinada a partir da magnitude da alteração na medição. Em misturas apropriadas, esse método proporciona um meio para distinguir os componentes das substâncias coloidais baseadas. Esse método pode ser especificamente aplicado para determinar a estabilidade e a concentração de piche coloidal ou resina de madeira na água de processamento de polpa e papel. No presente contexto, ele pode ser utilizado para distinguir o piche coloidal ou a resina de madeira do talco, argila, negro de fumo ou outras cargas.
