Descreve-se um método para melhorar a fluidez em baixa temperatura de composições de óleo lubrificante com base na adição aos óleos lubrificantes de uma mistura de copolímeros de (met)acrilato de alquila de alto peso molecular e baixo peso molecular. As combinações de polímeros de (met)acrilato de alquila de baixo peso molecular que contêm zero a 25 por cento em peso de (met)acrilato de (C~16~-C~24~) alquila com polímeros de (met)acrilato de alquila de alto peso molecular que contêm 25 a 70 por cento em peso de (met)acrilato de (C~16~-C~24~) alquila são especialmente eficientes ao satisfazer aspectos diferentes de propriedades de fluidez em baixa temperatura simultaneamente para uma faixa ampla de óleos de base.
